WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU? I combine traditional. lifestyle and documentary photography, specializing in senior, family, boudoir, and birth portraiture to capture genuine images for you to treasure for a lifetime. We will capture portraits with smiles, natural expressions and those beautiful unplanned moments in a relaxed session. Your custom gallery will be meaningful and precious because this is your you, full of its own love (and beautiful chaos)!
WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD? I love both the styles of on location photography and controlled lighting in studio photography. Together we will choose the perfect location for your session.
DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS? Yes; mini-sessions are great when you're looking for a slim volume of images. Available only for a single family or child portrait session.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Be comfortable, be yourself. Mix prints and solids. Start with a clothing piece that you love on yourself and work from there. If you feel comfortable you'll show comfortable. Do be aware of logos and printed words on clothing, wrinkles, and shoes. Barefoot is always an option.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY YOUNG CHILDREN? It's most important for mom and dad to remain relaxed during the session. If your children see you having fun and smiling, they will follow your lead. Leave any child wrangling needed to me. This will be a fun and enjoyable experience for the family (yes, even dad!). Arrive with clean faces and hands.
WHEN WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS? I offer one simple, all-inclusive collection where you receive your high resolution digital files delivered via direct download and a print release, available for client only. Within two weeks of your shoot, you will receive a link to your private online gallery. Digital files will be available to you in both color and black and white. You will also have the option to purchase additional prints and boutique products.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES ARE IN MY GALLERY FROM OUR SHOOT? I look at each and every image from your session and hand select the best images. I select images that represent your family and my artistic style.
HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU BOOKED? I typically book three weeks in advance, with as far as 8 weeks in the fall.
DO YOU OFFER NEWBORN SESSIONS? I apologize for the inconvenience; however, I no longer offer newborn sessions. My specialization includes senior, family, boudoir, and birth, allowing me to focus my creative energy in these portraits.
WHAT IS A BIRTH DOCUMENTARY SESSION LIKE? This documentary session is unique to each family. These joyous moments will be captured in a non-intrusive session and can be kept as PG as desired.
WHAT IS A BOUDOIR SESSION LIKE? This intimate session celebrates your beauty and empowers your sensuality. Whether it's a gift for yourself or your partner, your portraits will highlight your natural beauty and energy.
HOW MUCH DOES ALL OF THIS COST? My session packages are all-inclusive. Your session fee includes the studio/on location session experience, edited high resolution digital images in both color and black and white and print release from your online viewing gallery to easily download, share and print your images. A deposit is due when booking to secure your session date and details.
